USC Band Clinic

USC Band Clinic – February 17-20

Each February, over 400 high school students from throughout the Southeast converge on the USC campus to participate in the USC Band Clinic. In its 34th year of existence, the Band Clinic was created by Director of Bands Emeritus James Copenhaver to provide a unique musical experience for advanced high school wind and percussionists. To participate, students must first be nominated by their high school band directors. Those selected will participate in masterclasses with USC School of Music faculty and perform under the batons of some of the leading conductors in the nation.
